JALAPENO RED
-This is the
most popular chilli in America. It originated in Mexico and is named after the city of Xalapa (Jalapa). It is very easy to
grow, and produces pods over a long period, which can be eaten green or red at maturity, when they are a little sweeter. The
pods are thick and crunchy.

for you. This variety has all the good qualities that you love about the Jalapeno Red, but has the extra bonus of producing

NUMEX TWILIGHT RAINBOW -If you like really hot
chillies and want a really striking specimen plant, then you can't go past this plant. Apart from providing you with masses
of fiery hot chillies, you will marvel at the pods as they change colour from purple to creamy white to pale yellow to orange
to red, with most colours showing at the same time.

NUMEX PIQUIN These are small chillis, about .5
inch wide and 1 inch long. A colourful plant, the chillis go from green to yellow to orange to bright red when
ripe, and usually fall from the plant once mature. Hot as a habanero.

ROOSTER SPUR
-As the name suggests, this plant produces masses
of chillies that resemble a rooster spur over a very long period. The pods are very hot and have thin walls, which make them

ROCOTO RED
-This plant originates from high in the Andes and
is the most cold tolerant of all the chilli varieties. I have had the same plants growing in my garden in Melbourne for the
past 8 years, and they are still going strong. It is a very large plant with 4 metre long rambling branches. It is the only
variety with black seeds, and some of my victims claim it is hotter than the Habanero. It has brilliant purple flowers and
hairy leaves. The pods are very thick and fleshy and similar in shape to a Jalapeno but about the size of a small Roma tomato.

SCOTCH BONNET ORANGE 
Species:
Chinense Origin: Caribbean
This very hot, firey variety produces globular shaped fruits which ripen from pale green to Yellow or Orange.
The plant has a short bushy plant habit and is late maturing. Approximately 200,000 - 300,000 scoville heat
-Native to the Caribbean,
it has a bit of a squashed in shape which resembles a "Scotch Bonnet".

SCOTCH BONNET RED  Species: Chinense Origin: Caribbean
Produces

TABASCO -used to make the world famous Tabasco Sauce. The
strong open bushy growth produces lots of erect growing bullet shaped chillies. The show of pods looks very pretty with dozens
of shades of colours as the pods change from very pale green, to yellow, to orange to red. The flavour is really great as
well.

in Thailand. It grows exceptionally well in pots and produces an almost never ending supply of tiny fiery hot chillies that
are easily dried. The more you pick, the more they produce. The pods grow pointing up and the plant is very colourful, with

THAI PRIK SOD DANG -This Thai plant produces smooth skinned
Cayenne-like chillies that can be eaten red or green, and are most commonly used for curries and stir fries. Even in their
green state the pods are very hot.

is a very easy to grow Thai variety, ideal for pots. It produces lots of 2 inch long thin erect chillies that that have
a moderate heat. Perfect for both cooking fresh and drying. The pods start off green and change to orange
